A few weeks ago I shared my beloved bookshlves and I stated that I would soon be decorating them for fall. Well, the time has finally come! Although it might not feel like fall, (where I live it is currently 80 degrees still), I decided that since Starbucks has released their fall drinks, its fall.
There's a certain magic in the air during this time of year – a warm and inviting atmosphere that beckons us to snuggle up with a good book. And what better way to celebrate the season than by decorating your bookshelves! This post contains everything that I have decorated my bookshelves with. I hope you find some inspiration for your own bookshelves or even your home.

Bookshelf #1 Let's address the obvious right away – yes, I've turned all my books around. The idea might have crossed your mind, too, and you've likely contemplated whether it's worth the effort, considering how tricky it can be to find a specific book. You see, this particular bookshelf holds all of my romance books, and this fall, I'm diving headfirst into the world of fantasy reads. The decision to turn the books around was driven by my desire to maintain that cozy fall aesthetic, and I must say, I highly recommend giving it a try! (Pro tip: Snap a photo of your bookshelf before the transformation, so you'll always know where a specific book resides in the future.)
On top of my bookshelf, I've chosen decor items that help capture the season while not looking too crowded. It's wonderfully simple and easy to replicate! You most likely have items like this already laying around your home. If not, feel free to use the links below. While I couldn't locate the exact products I used, I've discovered some fantastic alternatives on Amazon. Just click on the images to access the product links. Additionally, for those unable to burn candles due to living restrictions, I've included a cute wax warmer and a selection of fall-themed wax melts that are sure to bring the fall vibes into your home!

On the middle shelf I have a velvet pumpkin that came in a set with the pumpkin on the bottom shelf. These are from the Target dollar section but if you want to order some online, I have linked similar ones below. On the bottom shelf I also have a random fall candle and a picture frame with the print "read more booooooks". You can buy this print on my Etsy shop, and it comes with 3 different variations! This print is such an easy way to spice up your bookshelf and it is only $1!
