A few weeks ago, I wrote a post about things TikTok made me buy. I only got to share a few products and let’s face it I have bought many many products because of TikTok. I shared some of my favorite body care, hair care, skincare, and makeup products from TikTok last time. This week I’m going to share even more items that went viral on TikTok and encouraged me to purchase! By the way, all images have links to make it easy if you want to buy something for yourself!
Self-Care
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I have started taking self-care wayy more seriously when I saw everyone sharing their favorite items on TikTok. There are things that I didn’t even know I needed that I couldn’t imagine living without now. First up is my ice roller, which is a very popular item on TikTok. This thing really helps wake me up in the morning and it just feels good! I’ve notice subtle differences in the puffiness in my face, but I honestly just love using it. I got mine on Amazon for a great price and I use it every day!
My next item is something I had put off for a long time.
I love to read, and I always thought that nothing
will beat the experience of reading
a paperback book. I kept seeing so many people post about their kindles on TikTok, and I would always swipe off knowing I wouldn’t get one. However, I have to say that my Kindle has honestly changed my life!! There are so many pros to the Kindle! I love how it is so easy to use, transport, and hold. Reading in bed has never been easier! You can adjust the font size and brightness so you can even read in the dark. I thought I would hate reading on a Kindle, but I actually love it and find that I read faster on it. I seriously can’t imagine not having my Kindle!
This next item might seem unnecessary, but I use it every day! We all know the famous Barefoot Dreams blankets, but who really wants to spend over $100 for a blanket? So, when the Sam's Club blankets went viral for
being a Barefoot Dreams dupe, I had to try it. I can honestly say that this blanket is the softest thing I’ve ever felt! I love how it feels and I use it every single day. I never knew how happy a blanket could make me, but I look forward to going home and curling up on my couch with it. I linked a similar one from Amazon.
The last self-care item that TikTok made me buy
is a gel nail polish kit. I see people allll over my for-you page sharing how they paint their own nails and all these cute designs. I am someone who hates going to the nail salon but loves having their nails done. I figured learning how to do my own nails would save me lots of time and money. So, I bought a nail kit from Amazon and started learning! I fell in love with painting my nails and nail care and it’s kind of like a hobby for me now. I can change my nail polish whenever I want and avoid the salon completely. I’m still getting the hang of it so I can’t do any cool designs, but I like more minimal nails anyway. It takes time but I think it is so worth it!
Organization
If you’ve seen the organization side of TikTok then you know
people go to the extremes to make sure every place in their house is organized. I don’t have that strong of a desire, but I have benefited from a few things that went viral. First are the famous clear tray organizers that everyone uses in every drawer possible. They really are nice to for organizing and I use mine in the desk drawers. I keep pens, makers, highlighters, and other supplies nice and organized in their individual clear container. It helps keep things from moving around the drawer and makes life easier for me. I got cheap ones from Amazon, and they work great.
Next is my beloved trunk organizer. I have a pretty big trunk and I like to keep a lot of stuff back there. Like my yoga mat, reusable
grocery bags, an emergency kit, a blanket, etc. So, before my trunk organizer, those things we’re constantly rolling around in my trunk. Also, when I would go grocery shopping, I would have to strategically place all my groceries back there hoping they wouldn’t all fall over and roll around. But after seeing many TikTok’s about people showing everything they have bought for their cars, I decided I needed a trunk organizer. There are tons of options on Amazon ranging in sizes and price. I just got a good medium size one and I love it. It has Velcro on the bottom so it won’t move in my trunk, and it has dividers so I can keep things separate. I keep my yoga mat and my reusable bags in it and when I go shopping, I can put the groceries right inside and they’re safe and snug.
The last item I’ll discuss today that TikTok made me buy is my iPad and Apple Pencil. I’m sure we’ve all seen people’s videos about how they use their iPads for everything and how they make it all cute. I kept
